- 6 large apples (Golden Delicious or Fuji), peeled & sliced
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp nutmeg (optional)
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ cup apple juice or water
- 2 tbsp butter, cubed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1: Prep
Add sliced apples to slow cooker.
Step 2: Mix Sauce
In bowl, whisk brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, cornstarch, and apple juice.
Step 3: Cook
Pour mixture over apples, add butter on top. Cover and cook:

- HIGH: 2–3 hours
Stir halfway if possible.
Step 4: Finish
