Homemade Weed Killer
Ingredients:
- 1 gallon of white vinegar (5% acidity or higher)
- 1 cup of table salt
- 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap
Instructions:
- Combine the white vinegar and table salt in a large container. Stir until the salt dissolves completely.
- Add the liquid dish soap and stir gently to mix. The soap helps the solution stick to the leaves of the weeds.
- Pour the mixture into a spray bottle or garden sprayer for easy application.
Usage:
- Apply the solution on a sunny day for the best results.
- Spray directly onto the leaves of the weeds, avoiding nearby plants you wish to keep.
- Repeat as necessary, but avoid oversaturating the soil to minimize long-term salt buildup.
Tips:
- This recipe is non-selective, meaning it will kill any plant it contacts, so use it with care.
- Rinse your sprayer thoroughly after use to prevent clogging from salt residue.
