This Mediterranean Steak Bowl is a vibrant, protein-packed meal made with juicy grilled steak, fluffy rice or quinoa, crisp vegetables, and creamy tzatziki sauce. It’s perfect for meal prep, weeknight dinners, or easy lunches — fresh, filling, and bursting with bold Mediterranean flavor.

🧾 Ingredients

Steak

  • 1½ lbs flank steak or sirloin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Bowl Base

  • 3 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • ½ cup Kalamata olives, sliced
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cucumber, grated & drained
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste

Step 1: Marinate Steak

Mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub over steak and marinate 20–30 minutes (or up to overnight).

Step 2: Cook Steak

Grill or pan-sear steak over medium-high heat 4–5 minutes per side (medium-rare to medium). Rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

Step 3: Make Tzatziki

Stir together all sauce ingredients until smooth. Chill until ready to use.

Step 4: Assemble Bowls

Divide rice or quinoa into bowls. Top with sliced steak, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, red onion, feta, and drizzle with tzatziki.
